Mission Statement

People Helping People is dedicated to improving the lives of men, women and children in the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos and immediate environs by addressing emergency and basic needs and furnishing comprehensive integrated family and individual support services.

Overview

People Helping People (PHP) is located in Solvang, California, in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. The Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos and the Gaviota Coast consist mostly of rural ranches, vast acreage of open range and vineyards. Just thirty-five minutes south of Santa Maria and forty minutes north of Santa Barbara. Ballard, Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Los Alamos are all within a twenty minute drive.

People Helping People is dedicated to improving the lives of men, women and children in the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos and immediate environs by addressing emergency and basic needs and furnishing comprehensive integrated family and individual support services.

PHP is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit California corporation. PHP’s California Charitable trust registration number is CT-1848585. You may make inquiries to the California Attorney General’s office regarding People Helping People’s trust status by contacting the Attorney General’s website at www.caag.state.ca.us.

PHP has worked hard to be a valuable resource to the entire community. We have accomplished this by providing individuals and families with resources that help them achieve self-sufficiency, while we support the local economy by ensuring that those in need can continue to live and work in the community.

PHP is always looking for ways to improve our services and we would like to hear from you about the quality of our services and additional ways that we can help the Santa Ynez Valley, the Los Alamos Valley and the Gaviota Coast.
